Beekeeping Talks and displays for the public

To help the public understand the behaviour of honey bees and their role in the ecological system, Warwick and Leamington Beekeepers represent our craft at public events. We give beekeeping talks to a wide range of social groups. This is a key aspect of our charitable role.

Our Beekeeping talks are provided by experienced local beekeepers, who are keen to present the many aspects of this facinating subject. WLBK may on occasion (when the opportunity arises) also include demonstrations of Skep making, Candle Making and presentations of other hive products such as beeswax goods.

Warwick and Leamington Beekeepers also care for a glass walled beehive in the Warwickshire Museum, Market Place Warwick, where honey bees can be viewed flying in and out and working in the hive.
